Davey, P., 2009: A widespread species in Britain, the larva feeding on sallow (Salix spp), creeping willow (Salix repens), birch (Betula spp.) and aspen (Populus tremula). In Dorset, the moth is found exclusively on sandy soil where it is locally common.
