Roeslerstammia erxlebella

(Fabricius, 1787)447 / 13.002

Phil Sterling (2008): A widely distributed species in England and eastern Wales, also found in northern Scotland. It lives in open woodland and scrub on heaths. The adult may be beaten from vegetation and it comes to light. The larva mines the leaves at first before feeding externally on birch (Betula spp.) and lime (Tilia spp.).
