=Ectoedemia septembrella

Phil Sterling, 2008: A common species throughout England and Wales. The larva mines the leaf of various species of St. John’s-wort (Hypericum spp.), including the introduced Rose-of-Sharon (H. calycinum). Before 1970 within Dorset, there are 11 records spread across the county (per WPC ms.); recent records suggest the moth is still widespread.
