Ectoedemia argyropeza

(Zeller, 1839)23 / 4.085

Phil Sterling, 2008: A local species throughout England and southern Scotland, but may occur in abundance. The larva mines the petiole and leaf of aspen (Populus tremula). Aspen is a local tree in Dorset, and the moth appears to be absent from a number of sites recently searched across the county.
