Phil Sterling (2008): A widespread species in southern England; also recorded from Yorkshire. The moth flies in sunshine around dogwood scrub. The larva mines the leaf of dogwood (Cornus sanguinea).

Verification Grade Comment: Make sure host plant is Cornus sanguinea (Common dogwood)
