Peter Davey / Phil Sterling, 2020: A local species being restricted to England and less rare further south, the larva feeding on mugwort Artemisia vulgaris. In Dorset, there is a single record from the north-east of the county, Stubhampton Bottom in 2002. Mugwort grows along the edges of the main valley-bottom forest track (on chalk soil).
