Davey, P., 2009: A local species in Britain found in northern England and northern Scotland, the larva feeding on birch (Betula spp.). The moth is resident in southern Scandinavia, Denmark and Holland. In occurs also in eastern Belgium and in eastern France where it is chiefly an upland or montaine species.
