Davey, P., 2009: A species found throughout Britain, the larva is polyphagous. In Dorset, the moth is at low density, especially away from sandy soil, but it is locally frequent where bracken (Pteridium aquilinum) is dominant and in the few localities where broom (Cytisus scoparius) flourishes.
