Davey, P., 2009: A species found throughout Britain, the larva feeding on sallow and willow (Salix spp.) and poplar (Populus spp.). In Dorset, the moth is widespread and occurs in the same range of habitats as the Puss, where it is marginally more common. The national norm is for a double brood in England and a single brood in Scotland.
