Davey, P., 2009: A local species restricted to southern England and Wales, the larva feeding on oak (Quercus spp.), birch (Betula spp.) and occasionally lime (Tilia spp.). In Dorset, the moth is local, at low density, and primarily associated with mature birch and oak woodland.
