Davey, P., 2009: A local species in Britain, the larva feeding on the ripening seed capsules of bladder campion (Silene vulgaris) and sea campion (Silene uniflora). This highly distinctive Pug is very local in Dorset, and is yet another species that has probably declined as a result of loss of unimproved grassland on chalky soils.
