Davey, P., 2009: A species confined to southern Britain, the larva feeding on traveller's-joy (Clematis vitalba). In Dorset, the moth is frequent and shares the same habitat type and distribution as the Small Waved Umber, although the Fern tends to be at a slightly lower density.
