Davey, P., 2009: A local species in England, the larva feeding on hedge bedstraw (Galium mollugo) and lady's bedstraw (Galium verum). In Dorset, the moth is frequent very locally and has been found in a number of unimproved grassland localities on chalky soil. Inland, favoured localities include Lyscombe Hill, Puddletown, the Purbeck Ridge, Badbury Rings, and Bottlebush Down. Coastal localities include Charmouth, West Bexington and Durlston.
