Davey, P., 2009: A species restricted mainly to south-east Britain, the larva feeding in the inner stems of common reed (Phragmites australis). In Dorset, the moth is common within all the larger coastal reedbeds and at low density elsewhere along the coast where common reed grows on wet clay cliffs and landslip habitat.
