Davey, P., 2009: A species that is restricted to upland areas in western and northern Britain, the larva feeding on the roots and stem bases of grasses such as small reed (Calamagrostis spp.), cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata) and purple moor-grass (Molinea caerulea).
