Davey, P., 2009: A rare species headquartered in the open woods and orchards of the lower Severn Valley, plus several sites in Devon, the larval foodplant is unknown, but on the Continent it is polyphagous on trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. There is one record from Dorset, trapped at Sherborne on the River Yeo, and nearly forty kilometres from the nearest Devon locality: Sherborne, at MV light in 1969 (C Gibson, BENHS 18.1 : 9)
