Davey, P., 2009: A widespread species in Britain, the larva feeding on the flowers and buds of ivy (Hedera helix), holly (Ilex aquifolium), privet (Ligustrum vulgare) and dogwood (Cornus sanguinea). In Dorset, the moth occurs in three different habitat types.
