Davey, P., 2009: A species limited to southern Britain, the larva feeding on traveller's-joy (Clematis vitalba). In Dorset, the moth is common wherever the foodplant grows in woods, plantations and hedges, mostly on chalky soils. The peak of the second brood is, on average, nearly twice as large as that of the first brood.
